The ATS Early Career Investigator Award in Pulmonary Vascular Disease program has provided over $6.6 million to young investigators to conduct basic science, translational, and clinical research in the area of pulmonary vascular disease.

Young investigators have gone on to publish and present their ATS Early Career Investigator Award in Pulmonary Vascular Disease-funded research in numerous peer-reviewed journals and scientific congresses.

The American Thoracic Society improves global health by advancing research, patient care, and public health in pulmonary disease, critical illness, and sleep disorders.
